Before School Starts
Orientation/Policies & Procedures and Parent Handbook
- All families are required to read our Parent Handbook which is under Family Information.
- Those who wish to volunteer in our class or on our Board of Directors will need to read our full Policies & Procedures, as well as provide a Vulnerable Sector Check or Criminal Reference Check. Please contact our staff for more information on how to obtain this.
- There is a mandatory orientation that takes place before school starts. During the orientation, all parents/guardians will discuss the policies & procedures, licensing requirements, fire drills and any special medical needs of students in the classroom.
- There will also be time to meet our educators, see the classroom, discuss your child and get information for the upcoming school year.
Typical Holidays for the School Year
Specific dates found in our Parent Handbook
- Winter Break – 2 weeks in December
- Spring Break – 1 week in March
- Thanksgiving, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday & Victoria Day
- 1 Professional Learning Day – typically in the fall with date to be announced
